Privacy & Cookies

worldmodeldata ("worldmodeldata", "we", "us") supplies high-fidelity behavioural datasets extracted from AAA game engines to AI labs and robotics research teams. This page explains what information we collect through this website and the AI sales assistant, how we use it, and what rights you have. It is maintained by worldmodeldata and is not an independent certification.
1. Data controller
worldmodeldata is the data controller for personal data collected through this site. For any privacy request, contact contact@worldmodeldata.com.
2. What we collect
Information you provide
When you submit the pricing form or share contact details through the AI assistant we store your name, corporate email, optional phone number, optional company website, and the content of your message. When you converse with the assistant we store your messages and the assistant's replies.
Information collected automatically
We generate an anonymous visitor identifier wmgdf:visitor-id stored in your browser so the assistant can recall the same conversation across visits. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, user-agent, timestamps) for security and abuse prevention; these are retained on a short rolling window.
Information we do not collect
We do not run third-party analytics, advertising trackers, cross-site identifiers, social pixels, or session replay. We do not buy personal data from data brokers.
3. How and why we use it
- To answer your enquiry, qualify the use case, and send a follow-up by email.
- To operate the AI assistant and preserve conversational context between sessions.
- To protect the service against abuse, fraud, and rate-limit circumvention.
- To comply with legal obligations (tax, accounting, lawful requests).
We do not use your personal data to train foundation models, and we do not sell or rent personal data. See section 5 on the training data we license to customers.
4. Lawful bases (GDPR / UK GDPR)
- Legitimate interests – operating the site, securing it, and responding to B2B enquiries from prospective customers.
- Consent – persisting assistant conversations against your visitor ID (optional functional cookie). You can withdraw at any time.
- Contract – performing pre-contractual steps requested by you, such as preparing a framework agreement.
- Legal obligation – retaining records required by law.
5. AI training data – sourcing and rights
The behavioural datasets we license to customers are extracted on private, dedicated game servers operated under written terms with the relevant rights-holders or under engine licences that permit research extraction. We do not scrape live multiplayer matches in violation of publisher terms, do not exfiltrate copyrighted assets (textures, audio, cinematics, source code), and do not include personally identifiable information about real players. Trajectories are produced by consenting participants and/or bots under controlled conditions.
If you are a rights-holder and believe content attributable to you appears in a released dataset, contact contact@worldmodeldata.com with the specifics and we will investigate and, where appropriate, remove or restrict it.
Customer prompts, fine-tuning data, and model outputs handled under a framework agreement are governed by that agreement and our data processing addendum, not by this page.
6. Cookies
We use one strictly necessary cookie to keep the site working and one optional functional cookie (wmgdf:visitor-id) to remember your assistant conversation. With "Essential only" the assistant works statelessly and nothing is persisted to your visitor ID. You can revisit your choice at any time using the "Manage cookies" link in the footer.
7. Sharing and sub-processors
We share personal data only with vetted service providers acting on our instructions: cloud hosting and database (Supabase / Cloudflare), transactional email, and a large language model provider that powers the assistant. Providers process data under written terms that prohibit using your content to train their own foundation models. We do not sell personal data and do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising (CCPA/CPRA).
8. International transfers
Data may be processed in the EU, UK, and US. Where data leaves the EEA or UK we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or the UK Addendum together with supplementary measures (encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, minimisation).
9. Retention
- Lead enquiries: up to 24 months from last interaction, then deleted or anonymised.
- Assistant conversations (with consent): up to 12 months from last activity.
- Server logs: typically 30 days.
- Records required by law: as long as the obligation applies.
10. Security
Transport encryption (TLS), encryption at rest, role-based access control, principle of least privilege, audit logging, and regular dependency scanning. No system is perfectly secure; report suspected vulnerabilities to contact@worldmodeldata.com.
11. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, rectify, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA including the right to know, delete, correct, and to opt out of "sale" or "sharing", we do neither. To exercise any right, email contact@worldmodeldata.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
12. Children
This site is intended for B2B audiences and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or the law. Material changes will be flagged on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
